    About the role

    As a Process Engineer Intern, you will learn the fundamentals of scaling up process technology by assisting Mars engineering team in the development and piloting of Mars’ carbontech. You’ll report directly to the Engineering Manager.

    Some duties you’ll champion:

    Field Engineering and Scale-up

    • Participate in the startup, shut down, optimization and troubleshooting of unit operations for Mars’ non-integrated pilot plant

    • Participate in the development of preventative maintenance programs for critical electrical and control equipment related to the pilot plant

    • Develop analytical skills to analyze GC-MS, GC-FID and Karl Fischer Titration data for product characterization

    • Develop expertise in providing hands-on technical support for FOAK pilot system

    • Participate in troubleshooting, failure analysis and technical coverage of mechanical systems

    • Provide support in executing HAZOP and risk-assessment procedures

    Communication

    • Assess and improve structure for organizing and managing engineering documents

    • Work with various stakeholders to understand technology requirements and design
